The Joining Process
The history of AniWaya before the tribe's arrival at 'Souls is completely fictional, and has never been defined too specifically. This means that we leave it open for joiners to create their characters as if they were part of the tribe before it split into two (Confused? Read the history!). A character who lived in the "old" AniWayan tribe certainly has a profession path and a Spirit Guide already upon finding the current AniWayan settlement at 'Souls, and might know some of the current members here, too. Because of this, there are two joining forms: one for joining as an outsider, and one for joining as a character from the large, pre-Souls AniWayan Tribe.
Note that this form differs from the general joining form of the 'Souls board by some entries. OOC joining is also an option. All types of Canines and Hybrids are accepted.

AniWaya was formed on December 15th in 2008. The concept was first thought of by Amber, former forum moderator and one of the founders of 'Souls. The idea has later been developed further by Marit, co-founder of AniWaya and now leader of this tribe, and her sub-leaders James and Sace. The native american lifestyle that this concept is based upon has largely taken materials from what is known and available of information on the Cherokee.
